Niccolai Trafile has been operating in the pasta sector since 1843, making dies and specific machines for pasta factories. After having examined all the technical details with the customer, a feasibility study of the die is carried out in terms of production and resistance.
These two fields certainly represent the areas in continuous design evolution, parallel to the technological improvements of the pasta production lines.

The inserts are made in such a way as to guarantee the due compression and rejoining of the product, for the extrusion of the shape regardless of the type of dough used.
For each commission, the optimal number of holes to be made is calculated according to both the capacity of the press and the drawing surface, in order to guarantee an extrusion speed of the pasta in the optimal values. For the quality extrusion , the die must be constructed in accordance with specific criteria. We can supply dies for any pasta shape, irrespective of those indicated in our catalogue.
